As a Junior Associate in corporate and commercial law, your main tasks will be to :

be involved in a wide variety of complex corporate law cases:
- venture capital operations and fundraising,
- mergers and acquisitions (M&A),
- (re)structuring,
- not-for-profit law,
- commercial contracts,
- directors’ liability,
- shareholder disputes,
- post-acquisition litigation,
- corporate housekeeping,
be involved in a wide variety of commercial law and soft IP law matters in both advisory and litigation roles;
working actively on cases and client exposure, with the help of more experienced associates;
be involved in the development of the firm through concrete actions, such as free legal assistance for young startups via incubators, workshops and creating legal content;
be involved in developing the firm’s know-how.

What we expect:

You have successfully completed a Master’s degree in law at a Belgian university; an additional Master’s degree is a plus;
You have an excellent academic background and very good analytical skills;
You have 0 to 3 years of experience in corporate law
Your mother tongue is French or Dutch. You have an excellent command of English and a good command of the other national language;
You are dynamic, rigorous, well organised, a team player, interested in new economic and legal developments, entrepreneurial and pragmatic. You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
